How the Life Matrix Works

The grid has 100 rows, one per year of life, and 52 columns, one per week of the year. Every cell represents exactly one week. When you enter your date of birth, the tool calculates the total number of weeks you have lived and fills in those squares. Your current week receives a distinct highlight so you always know exactly where you are.

Year markers on the side of the grid let you navigate to any age at a glance. Clicking a future square opens a target prompt — you can attach a short note (a goal, a milestone, a reminder) that will appear on the grid as a visual marker. Targets make the abstract concrete: instead of "I want to finish my degree by 28," you see the exact cluster of weeks between now and age 28 and can plan accordingly.

The matrix updates automatically as time passes. There is no manual refresh needed. Return to your grid any day and it will reflect exactly where you are in life's timeline.
